Snowdrop Lantern Workshops

Once again we will hold our popular lantern-making workshops.
You will be able to make your own snowdrop lantern under the guidance of local artist Des Alner and take part in the parade along Park Walk to Gold Hill on the 17th February in the early evening.

There will be four opportunities to make a lantern in the week leading up to the parade on Saturday 17th February.

All workshops will be held at Higher Green Farm Arts, Twyford. SP7 0JF.

The workshop sessions will be held on the following dates:

14th February: 10.00 – 12.30 or 13.30 – 16.00

16th February: 10.00 – 12.30 or 13.30 – 16.00

The Lantern Parade will start from Trinity Church at 6.15pm and finish in front of the Town Hall at 6.30pm.

In the event of bad weather the snowdrop lanterns will be displayed in the Town Hall and traditional dances will be performed indoors.
