Looking ahead to the coming spring months, we would like to welcome you to our lovely hilltop town to enjoy our beautiful snowdrops. Shaftesbury snowdrop season starts with the first blooms in January and runs until the last ones show their heads in March.
During this time, there is a choice of walks, including wheelchair and push-chair friendly routes, all of which feature snowdrops during the season – and wonderful views of the surrounding countryside all year round. Please see Snowdrop Walks on our Events menu for details of all the walks.
SNOWDROP POP-UP SHOP – CLOSED SUBJECT TO CURRENT COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS
Tourist Information Centre, 8a Bell Street SP7 8AE; 10am – 4pm, Monday to Saturday. However, please check opening hours for any changes to this due to government restrictions. Snowdrop glasses cloth, books, cards, tea towels, key rings and locally designed snowdrop brooch and badges.
5th – 20th FEBRUARY 2021, SHAFTESBURY ARTS CENTRE SNOWDROP EXHIBITION 2021 – CANCELLED DUE TO CURRENT COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS
From 5th – 20th February 2021, Shaftesbury Arts Centre will be hosting its annual snowdrop art exhibition, inviting entries from far and wide to submit a snowdrop-related piece of art. Try your hand at producing an artwork – you may even be the winner of 2021!
