Get Involved with Shaftesbury Snowdrops

All the snowdrop planting, events and activities are made possible through the work of our volunteers.

People help out in all sorts of ways:

  • Contributing a few hours each year during the annual Snowdrop Study Day, for example, to help guide people or answer questions
  • Providing time and support to help run a day’s activity, for example, a snowdrop planting event, or one of the festival’s social events
  • Coordinating some of the bigger events, such as the Snowdrop Study Day
  • Providing some expertise, for example, snowdrop growing & propagation advice, marketing expertise, website maintenance etc – the list goes on
  • Organising and running an event of your own specialism or hobby with a snowdrop theme

These are just a few of the ways that Shaftesbury Snowdrops volunteers help organise and run the Season.

If you would like to join us we are always happy to meet new volunteers.

If you want to link something you are already doing to the Snowdrop Season, or offer suggestions on what the team might do, please let us know by emailing us at  info@shaftesburysnowdrops.com or through our Facebook Page.
